    The HOA fees vary with the uniqueness of each Switch Homes community. The covenants and respective HOA fees can be found on the Community page for each community that is actively under development.

  • What does the HOA cover?

    Each community has features that are unique to the neighborhood and type of home. Review the HOA documents located on each Community page.

  • Can anyone use the common areas or is it reserved for residents of the neighborhood?

    Some of our communities have greenspaces that are dedicated to the municipality which allows for public use. In other communities, Switch Homes is a private development with the HOA responsible for maintenance. The covenants for each community will outline the features that are private and intended for neighborhood use only.

  • Is this in the city/utilities?

    Yes, each Switch Home community is built on sites that provide for public utilities including electric, water and sewer.

  • Are there covenants?

    Yes, refer to your Community page to review.

  • What is the ownership structure (traditional home ownership, condo, cooperative, townhome)?

    The structure varies by community. Switch Homes of Dubuque, Prairie Heights and Davenport are all a single-family traditional ownership structure. Switch Homes of Bettendorf offers its owners additional maintenance with a condo association. And Switch Homes of Cedar Rapids is a single family attached townhome ownership model.
